SEIU, AFL-CIO and International Brotherhood of the Teamsters letter in support of the NLRB’s new joint employer standard.

On November 2, the SEIU, AFL-CIO, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters issued  a joint letter to Congress urging support for the National Labor Relations Board’s (“NLRB” or “the Board”) recent final rule addressing joint-employer status under the National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA” or “the Act”). This important rule will ensure that workers have a real voice at the bargaining table when multiple companies control their working conditions.
