Assistant Director of Communications for Politics, Annual Salary $120,449
Directs and provides overall leadership to all SEIU political communications and media work to support priorities for growth and improving working families’ lives and communities, to involve members and the public in achieving those goals, to run campaigns that help elect pro-union leaders to office, and to brand SEIU as the national union on key political issues.
Senior Digital Communications Manager, Annual Salary $107,543
SEIU’s National Organizing Department and the Fight for $15 and a union drives the central mission of our union to win for working people on the job, in our communities, and in our economy and democracy. This position manages SEIU organizing department’s digital communications operations and staff to promote the union’s narrative and organizing work, to further campaign objectives, and to expand SEIU’s online audiences and presence. The position reports to the Assistant Director of Organizing.
Communications Program Manager, State Power Campaign, Annual Salary $96,020
This position will act as part of the State Power communications team to develop, manage, and execute strategic communications plans and materials including external media relations, ongoing communications with SEIU members and nonunion workers, and ongoing communications coordination with other stakeholders. This is a demanding position requiring a communicator experienced in movement building, advocacy and organizing communications, and media relations, with the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team.
