SEIU’s Henry: “Hillary Clinton stands strong for working families”

WASHINGTON – Following tonight’s presidential debate, Mary Kay Henry, International President of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), issued the following statement:

“Hillary Clinton stood strong for all of us tonight. In the face of intense bigotry and hatred, she showed laser focus on the issues that matter to working people. Voters want to hear what vision our next president has for our country and the values that drive their agenda. Hillary Clinton respects all of us, and she knows that we are stronger together.

“Donald Trump’s antics proved again that he is unfit to serve as president. He repeated the racist, sexist lies that have been at the heart of his campaign and continued to push his extreme ideas that would take our country in the wrong direction.”
