SEIU’s Henry: SEIU Ground Force Drives Clinton Super Tuesday Victory and Charges Ahead to Win the Nomination and Election for Working Families

WASHINGTON—SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry issued the following statement on tonight’s Super Tuesday results:

“Across the country, working families are in the fight of their lives for better wages, affordable care for their children and parents, and for immigrant and racial justice. The hate-filled extremist agenda being driven from the right proves the stakes couldn't be higher. Tonight working families turned out win after win for Clinton proving she is the only candidate who can unite Americans from East to West and North to South, and who will fight for a better future for everyone.

“SEIU members are on fire for Clinton, turning out in record numbers to get out the vote with an unprecedented coalition of labor and progressive allies. Our members are more motivated than ever to get involved, and beat the tide of extremism and hate by delivering Clinton to the White House. From knocking on doors to sitting down and talking with their neighbors about the issues, SEIU’s ground force for change is unstoppable, and is charging ahead to win the nomination and the election for our families by electing Hillary Clinton as our nominee and the next President of the United States.”
