SEIU’s Henry: SEIU ground force poised to carry South Carolina Clinton Win through Super Tuesday

WASHINGTON--SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry issued the following statement following Hillary Clinton’s victory in the South Carolina primary:

“Americans are in the fight of their lives for better wages, affordable care for their children and grandparents, and for immigrant and racial justice. Today, South Carolina's working families fought and won for Hillary Clinton because they know she will work her heart out to break down barriers and open up opportunities for everyone.

“The SEIU ground force has been in Super Tuesday and March Primary states for weeks to share one very clear message: when Hillary Clinton wins, we all win. Those members, along with the largest coalition of labor and progressive allies to date, are in this campaign for the long haul. We will not stop until Hillary Clinton is in the White House and working every day to fight, deliver and win for working families.”
