WASHINGTON—SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry issued the following statement on today’s Nevada Caucus results:
“Americans are in the fight of their lives for better wages, affordable care for their children and grandparents, and for immigrant and racial justice. For weeks, hundreds of SEIU members from Nevada and across the country spoke to caucus-goers about why Hillary Clinton is the candidate who will fight, deliver and win a better future for working families. Today, working together, we won.
“Our members nationwide will join their brothers and sisters in Super Tuesday and March Primary states--along with the largest coalition of labor and progressive allies to date—as a massive ground force to share one very clear message: when Hillary Clinton wins, we all win. Working families have been in this race for the long haul and will not rest until we deliver the Hillary Clinton to the White House.”
