While the President laid out a clear vision for nation building here at home and showing leadership across the globe, Mitt Romney showed once again that his ideas on foreign policy are as stale, misdirected and dangerous as his ideas for restoring our nation's economy.

"President Obama tonight showed the leadership we need in today's global economy. He understands that we must invest in good jobs at home - just as he did when he saved the American automobile industry - invest in the best education system in the world and support the heroes who fight for our country when they return home."
