SEIU Partners with House Majority PAC in New Ad Detailing Dan Webster's Misguided Priorities on Medicare

Miami, FL - Today the 55,000 Florida members and retirees of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) announced they will begin airing a new television ad in Florida's 10th Congressional District. SEIU will partner with House Majority PAC to air the spots, as the two groups have done in races throughout the election cycle.

It's obvious that Dan Webster will do his best to cater to corporations and billionaires, while leaving seniors and Florida's hardworking families to fend for themselves," said Sylbert White, a retired healthcare worker and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East member. "We need to support candidates, like Val Demings, that will put the people first and fight to make greedy corporations and the superrich pay their fair share. I paid my taxes my entire life, and now politicians like Mr. Webster want to take our benefits from us. We won't stand for it."

The ad hits Tea Party Republican Dan Webster for his out of touch priorities that call for increasing seniors' prescription drug prices and forcing them to pay $6,400 more a year for care, all while cutting taxes for millionaires and billionaires.
