SEIU Makes Substantial Ad Time Reservation in Nevada on Spanish Language Media

Ads Will Support Democratic Senate Candidate Shelley Berkley

Washington - With less than 50 days to go until the election, SEIU members are continuing their recent series of new ads in key battleground states and key races across the country to help ensure working families win on November 6.

Today, SEIU announced that it is reserving five weeks of Spanish language television advertising in support of Democratic candidate Shelley Berkley. The $350,000 ad buy begins running Oct. 1. SEIU has endorsed Shelley Berkley, who stands with Nevada families, over Dean Heller who has continually voted against the interests of Nevada's working families.

"In these final weeks before the election, we will continue to push to make sure working people know what's at stake," said Brandon Davis, SEIU national political director. "Our political goals are bigger than the presidential election. We need allies in the House and Senate as well. Shelley Berkley has proven she'll stand up for working families. Heller supports an agenda that will dismantle policies that strengthen working families and provide more tax breaks for those who don't need it."
