Today's expos̩ of hypocrisy should serve as a warning to politicians nationwide who continue to demonize immigrants with the express purpose of political gain. The news that former CNN News anchor Lou Dobbs has repeatedly employed undocumented immigrants is a stark reminder that America's broken immigration system is a deeply entrenched problem that requires serious solutions - not half truths or hysteria.

"For years Lou Dobbs made exploiting undocumented immigrants a central part of his career - and yet he saw no issue demonizing undocumented immigrants on the radio and television while exploiting their cheap labor to maintain his multi-million dollar properties. The same man who was pushed off the air because of his extreme scapegoating of undocumented immigrants knowingly hired undocumented immigrants to care for his daughter's competitive show horses. This deep-seated hypocrisy is nothing short of shameful.

"America's addiction to undocumented immigrant labor runs deep and our broken immigration system will not be solved through hysterical and hypocritical finger pointing.
