Jim Renacci Wants to Raise Taxes on Ohio Families, But Not Pay His
New SEIU Ad Goes On Air Tomorrow
Cleveland, OH - Today, 30,000 members of SEIU Ohio released a new television ad, titled "Investigation," that will air on broadcast and cable across Ohio's 16th Congressional District. The independent ad buy of more than $435,000 is in response to Jim Renacci's negative attacks against Congressman John Boccieri questioning his ethics and trying to paint him as a tax and spend liberal.
"Try as he might, Jim Renacci cannot run from the facts," said SEIU District 1199 President Becky Williams. "Even after he got caught filing a false tax return to get his own personal taxpayer-funded bailout, he has the gall to try and say families should pay a 23 percent sales tax on everything from gas to groceries.
"John Boccieri has fought to pass tax cuts to help middle-class families and small businesses, targeting them so they help those who need it most, not those who have the most."
