-Stern Available to Talk to Media About SEIU's Efforts to Win Colorado and Other Battleground States for Obama-Biden-

Washington, D.C.--Today, SEIU President Andy Stern will join Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden on a bus tour in Colorado with stops in Greeley and Commerce City. Stern will be speaking at a rally with Senator Biden at the Commerce City stop.

SEIU members in Colorado have knocked on nearly 85,000 doors and made more than 111,000 calls to voters so far and are now focused on educating and mobilizing voters to early vote and turnout on Election Day.

3,000 SEIU members, staff, and local leaders are taking time off and 100,000 nurses, janitors, child care providers, and other workers are volunteering after work and on weekends to ensure Barack Obama and Joe Biden win on Election Day. SEIU has committed $85 million to spend on election efforts.

Stern will be available to talk to the media about SEIU's efforts in Colorado and other battleground states.
