SEIU Launches Website Redesign

WASHINGTON,DC - Today, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)re-launched its website, seiu.org,which now features fresh, daily content covering the broad spectrumof SEIU's political action, campaigns and local unionactivities. The new website is designed to be a tool for unionmembers, community advocates, the public and the media to take actionon issues important to working families.


"Thenew SEIU.org will be a powerful tool for millions of Americans whowant their voices heard on issues like affordable, quality healthcarefor all, wages that support families, freedom to join unions andretirement security," said Anna Burger, SEIUSecretary-Treasurer. "We are hitting the ground running for notonly the election but for the critical first days of the Obamaadministration we are working toward."


Aprimary focus of the site is to encourage visitors to take action onpolitical and legislative initiatives, sign petitions and sign-up forregular updates on SEIU's key advocacy campaigns to help raiseconcerns of working men and women.
